This is the personal blog of Rob Wells.
I’m a recent graduate (2010) of the University of Lincoln’s School of Journalism, having completed a three-year journalism degree (“BA (Hons) Journalism”). I graduated with “upper second-class honours”, or a “2:1”.
While at Lincoln I spent over a year working on the student newspaper, The Linc, where I was the news editor. During my time there we switched focus from print to online, posting new stories almost every day. As a result, we were shortlisted for “Website of the year” in the Guardian Student Media Awards 2009.
I am originally from Wigston, a suburb of Leicester.
