Why I chose Tumblr for LSJ bloggers

Using TextExpander with Quicksilver’s clipboard

Recently I bought TextExpander from SmileOnMyMac, and it’s a really great piece of software. It allows you to type certain abbreviations, which it then expands into a full word or phrase.

For example, when I type “unilin” it automatically expands to “University of Lincoln”. I also have triggers set up for things like my email addresses [...]

An idea to get you blogging again

Stop thinking of your blog as “THE BLOG” (dun dun dun). Just think of it as “the place where I put stuff online.” If you get into the habit then there’s less resistance or reluctance to do it. It stops being such a big thing.
